Subject: [LABIRD-L] Birdbath visitor at dusk
Hello. About 30 minutes before dusk I go out in the sunroom where I have a
nice view of the "Community birdbath". This evening the usual mourning
doves and cardinals took a dip and a sip, then a Wood thrush came in for a
really splashy bath. No Hooded warbler today, but just before dark a
Swainson's warbler appeared on the edge of the bath. It first went in
ankle deep, then got all the way in and bathed.
Very nice to watch.
