Subject: [sbcobirding] Goleta Slough
In a less-than-five-minute visit about 9:20 AM today I noted a Peregrine Falcon (also present yesterday AM), the continuing Little Blue Heron, and TWO Osprey soaring and calling to each other (as if they were a mated pair). I'm interested in the possibility that both of these raptor species may be nesting locally.
