Subject: [sbcobirding] Belted Kingfishers at Goleta Beach
As of this morning, despite persistent coaxing from their parents, the young Belted Kingfishers at Goleta Beach have not yet departed their burrow.

Over the past few mornings I have stopped by to check on them, typically there is a Peregrine Falcon in the area. The Little Blue Heron has been present, with the exception of today.
