Early this morning at the south unit of Illinois Beach State Park the Yellow-breasted Chat was still in the same area calling from one of the tallest Oak trees, got a fair look at it this time with its yellow chest puffed out as it called even though it was nearly against the sun.  A Brown Thrasher and Great-crested Flycatchers were calling in the same area.  Also seen in the woodland were a pair of Bluebirds, an Eastern Kingbird, House Wren, Red-eyed Vireo, and Field Sparrow.  Mosquitoes were annoying but not intolerable.
