Felt the need to go somewhere a bit different so headed up and over Drum Canyon Road from Hwy 246 to Los Alamos. At the summit I had a male Northern Harrier fly over. Outside of Los Alamos a large weedy field ( 34.72207 -120.27894) had dozens of Lawrence's Goldfinches along with many House Finch and some Lesser Goldfinch. A few Lazuli Bunting sang on the hillside across the road. Other birds were the expected Dark-eyed Juncos, Orange Crowned Warbler, Ash-throated Flycatcher etc.
