Subject: Swainson's warbler - (lower) Tucker County
Hi all, while conducting a BBS route, I was quite surprised to hear a male
Swainson's warbler singing repeatedly in forested floodplain habitat with a
well-developed woody understory about 5 miles south of Parsons along the
Shaver's Fork. I listened to ~15 identical and stereotypical songs over the
course of several minutes. The species is known to overshoot, and it was a
pleasant surprise...
