Subject: [obol] Common Nighthawk, Silverton OR, Marion County
Spent 45 minutes (8:00 - 8:45) this evening (5/27) in my yard
watching/listening for Common Nighthawk. During that time, I had 22
species (see list below). It was quite the evening chorus as almost
everything was vocalizing.

At 8:28, I heard two distinctive "peent" notes but couldn't spot the high
flying COMMON NIGHTHAWK. This is an early (and uncommon) sighting for our
place which is about 16 miles E-NE of Salem, OR.
