Wood Duck 3
Lesser Scaup 1 Seen through 20-60-x scope. Female. May have been same
bird seen here by a party of four on May 12. May be an injured bird left
over from hunting season.

Red-shouldered Hawk 1
Spotted Sandpiper 6 Sure of this number. May have actually been more
than 6. They were very active(vocals, flight & walking) and in good view
through the scope and binoculars.
Solitary Sandpiper 5 These birds were larger than the spotted
sandpipers and smaller than the lesser yellowlegs. When they took flight,
they were very vocal and sounded something like the spotted sandpipers that
were calling but not quite the same. They were viewed through 8x40
binoculars. Like the yellowlegs, when they flew, they left the area
completely. The spotted remained at the lake.
