Subject: Mississippi Kite foraging at Arrow Rock State Historic Site Campground
Slender graceful bird with light head, dark wings. Gave a good show and I got very good looks. Was an adult bird foraging in the field south of the tent camp loop and west of Park road. Also flew around the picnic area. Consistently perched in large trees around the edge of the open area at the top of this hill. Would fly a circle, forage and return to perch.
