Subject: [CT Birds] WILSON'S PHALAROPE -- Low Rd, Sharon, CT
There is currently, as of 1:25 PM, a Wilson's Phalarope on Low Rd in Sharon CT. The bird is located in a flooded field on the corner of Low Road and Cole road in a flooded pasture with cows. There is a small pool of open water surrounded by flooded grass, and the bird was seen on the north end of the pool feeding behind a mallard. See ebird checklist below for exact location, and photo. Cole road is an under-traveled gravel road that is most likely safer to view and park from. Please call or email me with questions.
