Subject: Mountaineer Audubon Upcoming Field Trips
Hello, friends,

Mountaineer Audubon has several spring field trips coming up in the next
few weeks. Check our Facebook page for more info and updates, or let me
know if you have questions about any of the trips. Hope to see you out

May 18, 5:30-8pm: Birding & Paddling on Big Sandy in Bruceton. Join
Morgantown Area Paddlers and Mountaineer Audubon Members LeJay Graffious
and Larry Schwab for an evening of biriding and paddling on Big Sandy. Be
on the water at 6:00pm. Rental boats available at Padlz Canoe & Kayak
Rentals (make arrangements in advance.)

May 19, 8am: Spring Field Trip to Little Indian Creek WMA outside
Morgantown. Meet trip leader David Daniels at the Mountaineer Mall in
Westover near the water tower.

May 26: Spring Field Trip to North Bend State Park with Morgantown
Area Paddlers. More details coming soon -- check our Facebook page ( We will do a morning paddle and bird
watch among the trees. Red-headed woodpeckers are a usual highlight of this

June 13, 7am: Join LeJay Graffious for a bird walk at Old Hemlock in
Bruceton Mills.

June 16, 8am-2pm: Birds & Beer. Join LeJay Graffious and Katie Fallon for
an outing to Cranesville Swamp Preserve and then to Screech Owl Brewery for
lunch. Meet at the Bruceton exit Park & Ride at 8am.
