Subject: IBET Hooded Warbler with the Godwit and Ibis
There was a male Hooded Warbler around noon on the ground under the "magic pines" at the end of the Waukegan beach, next to the Water Filtration Plant.. There was also a Hooded at Montrose this morning along with many other birds. There were birds in almost every tree there. There was a time when I saw 34 Palm Warblers on the ground at once along the retaining wall. Other people reported a King Rail walking across one of the trails there and Piping Plover on the beach.
