> I checked this evening and found a snowy egret, a cattle egret, and a pair of snowy plovers. There was a bald eagle on the nest but no sign of eggs or fledglings. Lots of goslings though. I couple nights ago I saw seven sandhills on the west shore south of the road. These are probably the same ones noted about a month ago. They flew off across the reservoir shortly after I arrived. Just before dark three came back to the west roost area. No idea where the others went.
