Subject: Overland Park Arboretum
My wife and I birded Overland Park Arboretum for 3 ½ hours this morning. We encountered 41 species. Highlights:

- black-throated green warbler
- chestnut-sided warbler
- American redstart
- Louisiana waterthrush (good looks on the Creek)
- Kentucky warbler

I may have heard a mourning warbler, as well – but I don’t have much experience with these birds in the wild and was just comparing it to a recording. Couldn’t get the sucker to come out of the bush.

Best,
