5/11. Weston/Easton, Bradley Road, Trout Brook Valley Preserve - A half-day bird walk this morning with COA Raffle winner, Kim Westcott, tallied 61 bird species. Highlights included a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW (along vine-covered fencerow just south of farm building in orchard), Black-billed Cuckoo, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (adult female; rare this far south in mid-May), 7 species of raptors including Northern Harrier, and 5 male Bobolinks.
