Subject: [CT Birds] Yellow-throated Vireo in Southbury this morning

Highlights from a walk around the pond at Pierce Open Space this morning were a singing Yellow-throated Vireo (thank you for the ID help from an unknown lady birder far more knowledgeable than me), Canada Warbler, Common Yellowthroat,  Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush, female Baltimore Oriole, Wood Thrush, Veery, pair of Wood Ducks, Spotted Sandpiper, and a cygnet being closely watched by parent Mute Swans, among others.
Also, forgot to mention yesterday at Sanford Road Open Space yesterday a Swamp Sparrow as well as a Savannah Sparrow.
