Subject: [ia-bird] Hawkeye WMA Shorebirds - Johnson Co.
Shorebird numbers have collapsed at Coralville Lake and Hawkeye but that didn't mean interesting shorebirds weren't present. Today I scoped only
a couple hundred shorebirds but had the following notables;

1 Black-necked Stilt (N.E corner of Round Pond)

1 American Avocet (distant at end of James Ave.)

2 Ruddy Turnstones (end of James Ave.)

2 Sanderling (as above)

5 Hudsonian Godwits (distant from DNR Headquarters)
