Subject: [HMBirds] Bobolinks in trees. eBird Report - Westline Rd/Western Avenue, Charlton, May 8, 2018

> Westline Rd/Western Avenue, Charlton, Saratoga, New York, US
> May 8, 2018 1:43 PM - 2:07 PM

> Comments: After taking a snack break following Trip over Lake Desolation/Fox Hill Rd, Wally and I continued on to Galway Lake which had essentially nothing and went to Westline Rd and Western Avenue, mentioned by Ellen recently. Was much warmer now, but field birds were still active. We heard Bobolinks before seeing them due to a thick treelike by the road, but then saw several in trees. Was kind of funny as they are so associated with fields and hovering over them while singing.
