It was a beautiful early morning along the Kaw.

Warblers
Canada - singing in thicket on E-W cross-trail north of south bridge
Yellow - 25 still lots of notes
Blackpoll- 4 singing
Palm - 1
American Restart- 1
Wilson 3 singing
Northern Parula - 2

First walk with no Yellow-rumped

Pied-billed Grebe
Pileated Woodpecker -1 active today north side of park
Blue-headed Vireo - 1 singing
Yellow-throated Vireo - 1 singing (hanging near the KU boathouse
Summer Tanager - 1 singing
Swainson's Thrush - 10
Fish Crow - 1 calling flyover

For the last two days there has been more activity on the river trail than north side.
