Subject: [ia-bird] Hickory Hill Park, Iowa City
Thirteen warbler species were seen on this morning's Hickory Hill Park Warbler Walk in Iowa City. Highlights included a very cooperative Bay-breasted Warbler, Golden-winged, Blue-winged, Magnolia, and Black-throated Green Warblers, a male Summer Tanager, several male and female Scarlet Tanagers, Orchard Oriole, Gray-cheeked and Swainson's Thrushes, Cooper's Hawk, and Green Heron. Compared to recent days, today there were fewer Yellow-rumped Warblers and more Tennessee and Chestnut-sided Warblers.

Warbler Walks start at 6:30 a.m. every weekday morning through May 25 at the parking lot at the end of Conklin Lane in Iowa City.
