Subject: Topeka Yard Birds this AM
I went out this morning and was greeted by a tree full of black polls. I
counted 4. lots of call notes.

Brief appearances of male Am. redstart and a blue-headed vireo.

plenty of yellow warblers.

a few flycatchers.

Saw two rose-breasted grosbeaks...

I saw a yellow warbler with a white eyering. The bird was a pale yellow
like a female yellow warbler. Do they sometimes have an eyering. Can't
think of anything else it would be.
