Subject: Morgantown Migratory Bird Day 2018
Hello, WV Birders,

I hope some of you will join us at Cooper's Rock State Forest this Saturday
(May 12) for the Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia's celebration of
Morgantown Migratory Bird Day.

The day begins at 7:30am with a guided bird walk; meet at the Raven Rock
Trailhead for a chance to see and hear black-and-white warblers, American
redstarts, hooded warblers, wood thrush, scarlet tanagers, and maybe even a
cerulean warbler.

After the walk, join us in the pavilion near the overlook for Birds & Beans
Coffee and a variety of treats.

At 10am in the pavilion, there will be a presentation with the ACCA's
non-releasable birds of prey. At 11am, kids of all ages are welcome to join
us for a guided bird walk (meet at the pavilion). And at 12pm, join us for
a second live-bird presentation with the ACCA's raptors.

Ongoing in the pavilion will be owl pellet dissection, crafts for kids,
games, and educational displays.

Everything is free and open to the public -- all are welcome!

See you Saturday,
Katie Fallon
