Shorebird/waterbird migration continues at the Belle Fourche sewage lagoon with noticeable turnover in species composition compared to last week. New this evening were foy Red-necked Phalaropes mixed in with the Wilson's Phalaropes, ~40 dowitchers (assumed to be long-billed), Stilt Sandpipers, and Semipalmated Sandpipers and Plovers. Gone were the ibis, Caspian Terns, yellowlegs, and Least Sandpipers. At least 3 Black-necked Stilts are still there.
