Highlights: Blue Grosbeak, Summer Tanager, 18 Species of Wood Warblers including Bay-breasted Warbler, Prothonotary Warbler, Blue-winged Warbler (R. DeCandido), and Palm Warbler (late).

Mourning Dove - pairs in the Ramble
Herring Gull - flyovers
Double-crested Cormorant - perched along shore of Lake, flyover
Yellow-crowned Night-Heron - adult perched in willow between Bow Bridge & mouth of the Gill (Warbler Walk)
Red-tailed Hawk - 1 or 2 adults circling overhead
Red-bellied Woodpecker - pair near Laupot Bridge, male Evodia Field
Downy Woodpecker - 2 (male Strawberry Fields, male at feeders)
Northern Flicker - pair fending off a European Starling at the Gill Overlook
Great Crested Flycatcher - Maintenance Field
Warbling Vireo - 2 singing (Hernshead, Wagner Cove)
Red-eyed Vireo - singing at Upper Lobe
Blue Jay - residents
American Crow - heard south of feeders
Barn Swallow - over Lake
White-breasted Nuthatch - north end of Evodia Field
House Wren - Strawberry Fields
Winter Wren - Strawberry Fields
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - Strawberry Fields (Ginny de Liagre)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 4
Veery - west of Azalea Pond after lunch
Swainson's Thrush - 3
Hermit Thrush - 2 (Evodia Field, Upper Lobe)
Wood Thrush - near Laupot Bridge
American Robin - residents - some on nests, collecting nest material, collecting food for young
Gray Catbird - summer residents - pairs in various locations, one collecting nesting material
House Finch - near Evodia Field feeders
Eastern Towhee - pair just south of Azalea Pond
Swamp Sparrow - Laupot Bridge
White-throated Sparrow - around 15
Baltimore Oriole - 2 males (Hernshead & Maintenance field), others early & late in the day
Red-winged Blackbird - 2 males at feeders, one singing, others elsewhere
Brown-headed Cowbird - south of Azalea Pond
Common Grackle - residents
Ovenbird - 3 or 4
Northern Waterthrush - 4 (Hernshead, Laupot Bridge, Upper Lobe, Oven/Point)
Black-and-white Warbler - 8
Prothonotary Warbler - east side of the Point near the Boathouse (thanks to Bruno Boni)
Common Yellowthroat - 7
American Redstart - 4 (the Point (Emmet Logan), Gill, 2 Maintenance Field)
Northern Parula - 15
Magnolia Warbler - 2 males (Wagner Cove, Warbler Walk, Evodia Field)
Bay-breasted Warbler - male Strawberry Fields south of mosaic 8:15-8:30am
Yellow Warbler - 4
Chestnut-sided Warbler - 3
Blackpoll Warbler - 2 (Evodia Field & Bow Bridge (Jessica Newman))
Black-throated Blue Warbler - 5
Palm Warbler - "yellow" Wagner Cove - late
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 9, but easy to ignore, so probably twice that
Prairie Warbler - Wagner Cove (Ginny de Liagre) 8:45am
Black-throated Green Warbler - 2 males (Strawberry Fields, the Gill after lunch)
Summer Tanager - 2 (female Maintenance Field, male at the Gill) both birds after lunch
Scarlet Tanager - female Maintenance Field after lunch
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - male bathing at the Point (Emmet Logan)
Blue Grosbeak - immature male Strawberry Fields (Kathleen Massey & James Blaney)

Dr. Robert DeCandido reported a Red-headed Woodpecker north of Swampy Pin Oak, a male Blue-winged Warbler south of the Maintenance Field, a White-eyed Vireo at the Oven, a Blue-headed Vireo, and 2 male Indigo Buntings south of Tupelo Field.
