Subject: [ia-bird] Ruddy Turnstones, etc. in Johnson Co.
Today at Hawkeye WMA and Coralville Lake shorebird numbers were down by a half or two thirds. Still there were a lot of shorebirds present and
I totaled 20 species. But water levels are starting to rise and that portends major changes in shorebird locations starting tomorrow.

5 Ruddy Turnstones-up reservoir 1/2 mile from Scales Point(Coralville Lake).

1 Willet-same location as above.

2 Hudsonian Godwits- James Ave. end.

5 Sanderling- James Ave end.

3 Am. Avocets- distant from DNR Headquarters.
