Subject: Sleepy Creek WMA Warblers
I went for an after lunch hike with my son Andrew and our dog Shadow in
the northern section of Sleepy Creek WMA. We had decent activity for so
late in the day with 11 Warbler species sighted along the ridge line
including an FOY Tennessee Warbler. Cerulean's are still holding up OK
in our area as we encountered 4 on territory along our four mile round
trip. A couple of Swainson's Thrushes were also seen.

Butterfly notables include FOY Spicebush Swallowtail and a Henry's Elfin.
