I will be coming to Maine for birding in late May and was wondering if there is an update on the mentioned fire at Kennebunk Plains. Thanks for information you can share.

It is my understanding that there is a fairly significant fire in that area right now. Hoping that they are able to get it under control, that homes in the area are not affected, and that wildlife are OK. I suggest checking news reports (although it is not yet in the news I am sure it will be) before going to bird there.
