Subject: [NHBirds] NH coast yesterday
Sorry for the delayed post. Yesterday, 5/5/18, Zeke Cornell and I birded the
coast. As prevfiously posted, the highlight of the day was definitely the
American Golden-Plover in the saltmarsh area behind Little Jack's in
Hampton. Other highlights from the day are below.



2 Short-billed Dowitchers - behind Little Jack's, Hampton

Sora - 1 at Borthwick Ave. marsh in Portsmouth

Long-tailed Duck - 210

Red-throated Loon - 1

about 40 Black Scoter



Seabrook Beach, n. end

Large group of shorebirds on the jetty at the Hampton inlet with: 70
Sanderlings, 30 Purple Sandpipers, 150 Dunlin

80 Common Terns

20 Bonaparte's Gulls



Wood Thrush - Spinney Ln., Durham

Bobolink - 3 at Moore fields in Durham



Old Mill Rd. mitigation area, Lee

Eastern Measdlowlark - 1

Virginia Rail - 1

Prairie Warbler - 3

Field Sparrow - 3

Eastern Towhee - 3
