Subject: Migration
A brief walk late this morning at the Prairie Parkway access of Mill Creek
Steamway Park yielded a male Hooded Warbler and Chestnut-sided Warbler.
Three Least Sandpipers were along the ponds near the parking lot.

Migration seems to be lagging. The last several days were spent with John
Bollin and Mark Robbins in eastern Oklahoma. Migration was behind there,
as well. Red Slough, Little River NWR, Hackberry Flats, and Wichita
Mountains were wonderful, but mostly breeders were found.

Next weekend should be about right here in Johnson County.
