Subject: IBET: Ryerson & Mundelein Yard Birds
Ryerson started off VERY slow, with literally nothing at the Brushwood lot.
But once along the river, things picked up, if not on huge quantity, at
least very good quality.

18 warbler species, including 2 M Black-throated Blues, numerous
Blackburnian and Blue-Winged, several Bay-breasted and N. Parula, a
Golden-winged, and a Yellow-throated Vireo.

Heard Red-headed Woodpeckers, but never saw them.

Also saw two beaver (one found after hearing it gnawing on a tree) and a
mink.

Before I left this morning, had a Chestnut-sided Warbler & a heard only
Sora at home.
