I missed John’s Swainson’s but also had a Red-shouldered Hawk at Brenton Slough. Ran into the Armstrongs who had just had a Sora but no luck refinding it.

Today at Brenton Slough, I located a Prothonotary Warbler in the traditional nesting location at Brenton Slough. Also present were 2 Sandhill Cranes.

A Swainson's Hawk was seen at Marsh Farm Wetland

The most interesting bird I could find at the sod farms were some FOY Short-billed Dowitchers.
