> - Comments: "I'll try to make my case for a late Tundra Swan. Assuming bird is juvenile based on the shape of the curve at the gape (which both TRUS and TUSW juvenile show). Bird is much whiter on the back than TRUS would show at this time of the year, commonly. Head, in profile, is more rounded than TRUS, and bill is showing an angle up to where it meets the crown, not as straight as TRUS. Sibley notes that juvenile bills can be "oddly swollen and can appear disproportionately large - judgement of bill size are not useful on these birds." I point this out, as the size of the bill does appear more TRUS, than TUSW. There is a nice separation from the bill to the eye, with currently a thin black line. The rounded border of the top of the bill should be more distinct when the Swan matures. It is showing some lighter coloring where the TRUS-like point is at. I also managed a quick shot as it was swimming, and it shows the less evenly rounded shape of a TRUS."

As it passed within six feet of me, the dark “struts” on trailing edge of creamy white underwing linings were plainly evident. Dorsally, dark brown primaries/ leading edge contrasted with other (lighter) brown wing and body areas; the tail was noticeably pale in comparison. As to viewing time: I was mesmerized by those “struts” for about three seconds, and had about 2 seconds to note dorsal details before the bird had passed me. As I was contorted in my chair, by the time I got to my feet and turned around, no more views were to be had. "

The Easten wood-Pewee lacked the dark cap and had its feathers crested on its head. Both had buff brownish coloration on the chest but the Easten-Wood Pewee had much than the Phoebe. The Eastern Phoebe was bobbing its tail a lot more than the Pewee. Both were observed fly catching. Sadly they were to far away to see the bill coleration so could not tell wether the suspected Pewee had a bright lower mandable."

Short, slightly decurved bill. Light brown, non-contrasty supercilium and brown crown stripe. Underparts pale buffy. Short tail and extremely short wings. Real photos to be added later today. Face pattern and lack of rufous on back and uppertail coverts eliminated Marsh Wren. New county bird for both of us!"

Small, brownish sparrow with a light, buffy colored breast. Prominent whitish yellow supercilium noted along with bicolored bill with black at the tip. Also noticed a white median stripe on the crown.
>
> The bird proceed to forage on the ground for around 20 seconds. At this time, I attempted to obtain a photo, but was unsuccessful, as all I had was my bins and phone. The bird proceeded to fly into dense cover and sang several times, song a low buzz repeated twice with almost no delay between repetitions.
>
> After it stopped singing, I was unable to relocate it and gave up after about 25 minutes.
>
> I observed the bird along Gilkey Creek by the dugout on the Genesee Christian Elementary's soccer field. Habitat was riparian shrubbery with a few cottonwoods, bordered by a soccer field to the right, and a stand of white pines on the left. Observed with Nikon Action binoculars. Lifer!"

Early in the observation period the bird in the attached photograph was on the ground. I noted that it seemed brighter than the one I'd previously seen there today but chalked it up to lighting. Later I saw the duller one farther back, and noted that it didn't seem as bright but again attributed this to the lighting. After seeing Alec Olivier's checklist with one bright and one dull bird, I realize I saw both birds separately. Compare the photo below to my photos of the duller bird in this checklist: https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S45183823"
