Subject: [MASSBIRD] Virginia Rail -Eastern Marsh Trail, Salisbury

An evening walk on the Salisbury Rail Trail with a small group produced a vocal Virginia Rail.

Towhees, Marsh & Carolina Wrens added to the rail's chorus.

One warbler species seen - "butter butts".

A Milk Snake was quite comfortable with warmth of the trail's black substrate.

Good birding,
