Unfortunately, we also found a dead Kentucky warbler among the scores of dead and injured warblers and thrushes from window strikes at Northwestern University.

The dark side of migration.

A Kentucky Warbler visited our backyard around 1:00pm. There was also an Ovenbird present at that time and several White-throated Sparrows. Today seemed to have a mass arrival of Catbirds as well. I have a few photos here: https://abirdinthehedge.wordpress.com/2018/05/02/backyard-may-2-2018/<https://nam03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fabirdinthehedge.wordpress.com%2F2018%2F05%2F02%2Fbackyard-may-2-2018%2F&data=02%7C01%7C%7C939caa562d044c59409608d5b06444c7%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C636608867045779504&sdata=CvPyGQTB%2F6YVThoVHa5UAozbxQVTwKnx%2FgXSwGzW1I0%3D&reserved=0>
