Made a quick stop by the Redmond sewage treatment pond this morning hoping for a FOY shorebird and was not disappointed by a Spotted Sandpiper who was bob bob bobbing along the shore sporting it's black tipped orange bill. I sat down to sort through the many noncooperative swallows i.e. they never perched. Very cool to see all six of our C.O. swallows at once, a first for me. Also present were nine Least Sandpipers and a good diversity of waterfowl.
