Subject: [NHBirds] Osprey back at Chapman's Landing
I stopped by Chapman's Landing in Stratham yesterday, to see if
anything interesting was going on. There was a singing mockingbird,
always a welcome sight and sound. There was also a single Yellowlegs
stalking through the marsh. And there was an Osprey sitting atop the
nest platform. No sign of any eagles. So it appears that after the
eagle nest failure last year, the ospreys have reclaimed their home.
