Subject: [NHBirds] Even More Bonaparte’s - Lake Sunapee
The inland fallout of birds continues this morning. Lake Sunapee still had a decent sized raft of ducks that were too distant to ID but we’re possibly the same Long-tailed Ducks from yesterday. There were 17 Red-necked Grebes there today as well. However, the Bonaparte’s Gulls again stole the show with even more staggering numbers than yesterday. It was more reminiscent of counting migrating Broad-winged Hawks than counting gulls.
