I saw the Prothonatary (adult male) today between 1:45 and 2:15. Mostly high in the trees on the opposite side of the river at Hunts Mills in E. Providence. Very active.
Go to Hunts Mills Museum Historic Site on Rte 114A. Park in the far end lot down hill. Walk along the narrow trail to where you see rapids and the trail meets the water and the bird is in the trees in that section. From parking to bird is about a 5 minute walk.
