Subject: [COBOL] Hatfield Lake Today

Hi all,
Hatfield had some nice Shorebird surprises this afternoon with 3 American Avocet, and standing alongside them was a Marbled Godwit. Three Black-necked Stilts and 3 Least Sandpipers also present along with the continuing Snow Goose.
An adult Peregrine circled a few times sending the Avocets to sit among the Ducks for safety, returning to shore once danger had passed. A Say's Phoebe and 4 Savannah Sparrows were near the North Dam, 7 Cinnamon Teal, 2 N. Pintail, 1 Double-crested Cormorant and 1 Eared Grebe, at least 8 Canvasbacks also present.
Second Pond had 13 Cinnamon Teal, 15 Least Sandpiper, 1 Prairie Falcon and 2 Common Yellowthroat. Good numbers of Swallows around with Bank and Barn appearing to be the most numerous today.
A pair of Western Kingbirds on Rickard Road this morning were first for the year.
