Subject: Woolsey Wet Prairie - April 27th
I was at Woolsey from 6-8 this evening.

2 Soras were seen. The first one was flushed from long grass behind the barn and the second one was feeding in a small flooded thicket (fairly close to the parking area). I managed to get a short video of the second bird.

One LeConte's Sparrow is still present.

At least 250 Red-winged Blackbirds flew in to roost between 7:45-8pm.

Other species observed: Blue-winged Teal (17), Wilson's Snipe (2), Solitary Sandpiper (1), Chimney Swift (6), Eastern Kingbird (2), Scissor-tailed Flycatcher (2), Warbling Vireo (1), Bank Swallow (2), House Wren (1), Sedge Wren (2), Common Yellowthroat (2), Yellow-rumped Warbler (2), Savannah Sparrow (21), Lincoln's Sparrow (12), Swamp Sparrow (17), Orchard Oriole (1 male).
