Subject: [HMBirds] First Eastern Kingbird
I am at Wright's Loop and there is a lot of water here now. The area
where shorebirds we're hanging out yesterday is flooded. A few are on
edges of muddy field: Greater Yellowlegs, a Pectoral Sandpiper and
Killdeer. There are 3 Buffleheads on the pond along with a pair of
Hooded Mergansers, 36 Green-winged Teal, 4 Mallards and 4 Wood Ducks.
I was just about to leave when I saw the Eastern Kingbird on a pole on
far side of pond. Ron Harrower
