Subject: [sd-birds] Belle Fourche sewage lagoons
Some interesting birds yesterday at Belle Fourche sewage lagoons (just
north of town on Hwy 85): White-faced Ibis, Caspian Tern, two pairs of
Cinnamon Teal and seven shorebird species (Willet, Killdeer, Marbled
Godwit, Amer. Avocet, Baird's and Least sandpipers, and Greater
Yellowlegs). Water levels are low so this may be the best shorebird spot in
the area this spring.
