Subject: Oak Park, today
Hy folks,

I spent a couple of hours in Oak Park today, here in Wichita. The tall trees don’t have leaves yet, but are budding. Until that happens, we aren’t going to see much spring migration happening. There is some minor movement.

Here is what I saw:

Yellow-Rumped Warblers (some. Only warbler species seen or heard)

Warbling Vireo (1)

Hermit Thrush (1)

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (1)

Chipping Sparrow (a few)

Brown Thrasher (a few)

Clay-colored Sparrow (1)

Happy Birding,

Paul Griffin, Wichita
