It was a beautiful SPRING morning along the Kaw! It was a bit more birdy - 44 species

Ring-billed Gull - 200
Franklin's Gull -100
DC Cormorant - 9
Wood Duck - 2
Blue-winged Teal 2
Barred Owl - beautiful close look in the morning sun; it was looking down and ready to pounce on some unfortunate creature
Eastern Phoebe 1 singing
House Wren - 1 singing
Hairy WP - 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 4 singing
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher -1
Cliff Swallows - now entering and exiting the nests
Swanson's Thrush - 2
Hermit Thrush - 1
Fish Crow - 1
Orange-crowned Warbler - 1
Northern Parula - 3 singing
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 53+ - lots of song, chasing, and now most in full bright plumage (lots of movement near tops of trees I could not identify - likely these).
Song Sparrow - 4 - only one singing
White-crowned Sparrow - 18 lots of song and notes
Lincoln's Sparrow -2

Have yet to hear Warbling Vireo or the Pileated WP
