I love a nice drizzle in the spring. Seems to ground any and all migrants and makes for some nice birding.
Like Tom C., I made a lap around Sawyer Park. Several FOYs (for me):
Vaux's Swift 2 (in and among a mixed flock of swallows) Orange-crowned Warblers (only 2 and only 2 Yellow-rumped -- not nearly the numbers that Tom observed earlier in the day) Hermit Thrush 4 Calliope Hummingbird 1 male
Also, nice numbers of Ruby-crowned Kinglets, White-crowned Sparrows, Lincoln Sparrows.
