Subject: [Maine-birds] Warren geese
Hi,

A flock of 40 snow geese remains in the large pasture area across from the Maine State Prison Farm on RTE 97 in Warren. One goose is an immature blue-form bird. Several hundred herring gulls, ringed-bills, scattered Great Black-backed and a single adult Lesser Black-backed are present. Viewers should use the dirt access road on right just south of the prison entrance. Prison staff are sensitive to folks with binoculars and other surveillance devices in the facility parking area. (Trust me on this one!)

Don
