Subject: [CT Birds] Great Gull Work Weekends
Please see below from Helen Hays at Great Gull Island. If you are used to very rustic accommodations with no electricity for a weekend, this is is an amazing opportunity to get to visit one of the world's largest tern colonies and help out with an amazing project:

Schedule is a bit complicated, so please read carefully. Note that day & time of departure varies. Also note that boats in April and during July through September leave from Captain George Main's dock, whereas boats in May & June leave from Captain John Wadsworth's dock (addresses below):

- Captain George Main's dock: 25 Cove Street, Noank, CT

- Captain John Wadsworth's dock: 15 First Street, Waterford, CT

APRIL
Leaving from Capt Main's

Weekend boat, leaving Saturday at 8:00 AM, returning to mainland Sunday around noon:
- April 14 - 15

- Also, there will be a boat going to the island on Sunday, April 22 -- leaving at 1:30 p.m., with return undetermined at this moment...

MAY - JUNE
Leaving from Capt John's

Nest Marking Weekends, leaving Fridays at 3:00 PM, returning to mainland Sunday around 3:00 PM:
- May 11-13
- May 18-20
- May 25-28 (Memorial Day weekend)
- June 1-3

Weekly boats, leaving mainland Fridays at 3:00 PM
- June 8
- June 15
- June 22
- June 29

JULY - SEPTEMBER
Leaving from Capt Main's

Weekly boats, leaving mainland Saturdays at 9:00 AM
- July 7
- July 14
- July 21
- July 28
- August 4
