Hi all- Good birding at Pennyfield lock this morning. I went as far as the impoundments, but along the way there were lots of Palm Warblers and Yellow-rumped Warblers. A surprise visitor was a Solitary Sandpiper, which ebird flagged. As I was leaving, a Louisiana Waterthrush serenaded me by the lock house. Blue-wing Teal and green winged were present, but an individual flushed them walking thru the woods near the river.
