Subject: [Maine-birds] possible nesting bald eagles at the lagoons restrictions
Hi all,

There has been several sightings of a pair of BAEA near the nest at the
lagoons this year. Yesterday two birds were sitting next to the nest.
Today i only saw one bird sitting next to the nest. So far no one has
reported seeing babies in the nest.

I discussed this with the guys at the lagoons and they agreed to put up a
sign or barrier to block people from walking around pond number 2.

So we are asking birders and any body else not to walk around pond #2.
Pond #2 is the pond on the right as you walk through the gate, it is like
a half mile long and it is the biggest pond they have. Please do not walk
from the power lines around to the pumping station. When you come the the
power pole you should take a left turn.

Thank you for giving them some space, hopefully they will raise a family.
