A drive through the Ephrata farmland area produced three Vesper Sparrows this morning along Wissler Rd. Two were heard singing and one was seen sitting on a hay bail 30 ft from the road. Then a walk around the dam area of Speedwell Lake was very successful. First the recently found Yellow-throated Warbler continues along with pine, palm, yellow-rumped and Louisiana waterthrush along with a single blue-gray gnatcatcher.
